2h budget turbo (1 Viewer)

Hi all
I've got a 2h just rebuilt with 15,000ks on it.
I wanted to know what people's budget turbo setups were, I've found the 2h to be capable of highway speeds etc but just lacking on hills.
It's a 1989 model so I believe it doesn't have the one piece manifold so I can't flip it, anyone done a J pipe setup? What would be a good but not to expensive turbo to use?
I plan on going intercooled down the track as I already have a front mount laying arou

2h boost

So I've got a hj70 with a fresh 2h, new pump injectors etc etc I plan on doing as turbo conversion down the track, what's a safe ammount of boost, would 10psi be the go? Will be running egt gauge.
