Anyone know what this vacuum hose is supposed to connect up with? It's coming off the port that screws into the intake, on the other side of the PCV hose. I'm assuming this bolt plugging it up is not OEM. 1977 CA motor with thermal reactor and most / all smog equipment. I have the 77 emissions guide and both FSMs, and searched the annals of Mud, but haven't found it. PCV hose comes in on the right.

Thanks to everyone in advance!

It might help if you show more photos of the engine.

Mine does not have the extra nipple but hopefully this is correct. I’m trying to source appropriate sized hose for this. My understanding is a hose attaches and travels on backside of the air breather and attaches to opposite side.

Hey, nice color and great looking engine, bay and so on! Mine has a bit more…patina :)

I think both are correct. Looking through the Toyota parts site, it seems like there are two versions - is yours Federal or CA smog?

Here’s the parts site diagram, part 17110B: Link

Not truly sure but if I had to guess I’d go with federal

You might as well replace that rock hard PCV grommet (90480-18180) while your in there, looking good by the way.

More general view. There is a clip that looks like it leads up to the air filter housing or something, that is about the right size for a hose with this OD, will have to look on the underside of the housing for an inlet.
