I'm looking for a single lower radiator hose for a 2f engine that would replace the steel fitting with the heater hose barb and the two hoses assoc w/ that setup.

In conversation with Mark Algazy today he remembered a customer of his had found the hose I'm talking about and knew it existed but was unable to find the part number.

Anyone here found the hose I need and have the part number? Thanks

Are you talking about the one at the bottom of the radiator that tapers from about 2 inches to 1.5 inches.
I got mine from the dealer.

Yeah - that's the one, the water pump measures 1.850" and the bottom radiator pipe is 1.500"

I'll give that number a shot - thanks!

did this part number work

that p/n is not going to be long enough....not by a long shot.

well any one know the part number

Ige showed me one that she found that went from end to end in one shot. The thing looked SO FUGLY that I took pity on her and mailed her a good heater T-pipe with the heater fitting removed so she could run it as a simple spacer.

I'm still waiting to see a good hose too.

The part number was way too short - my heater T pipe was rusted and shot so I found a piece of pipe laying around the shop and spliced two hoses together.

Still looking for the "right" hose -

Just in case anyone in the future is looking for this...the lower two-piece hoses and heater connector can be replaced by a Dayco 81261 Flex Hose (at least on my 1971 FJ40). Perfect fit.
