What are you 2f guys doing for fuel pumps. I need (want) a new mechanical fuel pump but am having trouble finding one reasonable priced. The aftermarket mechanical pumps are not available it seems. I really don't want to go electric. I would like to stay original. This is a '76 FJ40. Anybody got any good sources on mechanical pumps or should I go electric (cringe). I think I can get an OEM but their near $200. Thanks.

I bought a mechanical pump from cruiserparts.net for around $129 just to stick on my parts shelf for later.

Beno (Onur Azeri) contact info at his dealership:

Even if you find an aftermarket OEM mechanical, it'll likely be more than the OE pump from Beno.

Beno...OEM.

Both great.

Beno for sure. MUD member discount--plus it's OEM--can't get better than that(a plus is you can rebuild this thing if you need to down the road.)

Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters usually has 2F mechanical fuel pumps in stock, excellent quality Japanese pumps at under $90.

If anyone is still looking for these OEM mechanical fuel pumps, I've got a couple in stock - reasonably priced. The link is in my signature.
