Just got rhe call from the machine shop that the cam bearings they would normally use are on back order. Any good brands out there or folks that have them in stock?

Also they said they can't find the "soft" brass or bronze freeze plugs and would not recommend steel. Any current leads? Ive searched and all threads are fairly old. Looks like SOR is all steel. Thanks in advance.

The following builders list 2F engines. Try one of them and see what they use/can provide?

Man…Yota 1. Same here with them. My machinist once also could not find some parts. I called a bunch of places, no help. Somehow I called Yota 1, they didn’t know me from Adam…but they bent over backwards to help me get what I needed.

Evidently not uncommon with them. 👍
