HI
Hey all, I have a sneaking feeling that this question has been answered before but I couldn't find anything on search. Anyway, I'm wondering if it's possible to use a 2f diaphragm style clutch on a 1f engine with 3 speed transmission? It's possible I may need a need clutch after my throwout bearing seized and wore down the adjustment screws on the 3 finger clutch and if I can upgrade to something that's more common and cheaper then I definitely will.

yes you can use the diaphgram clutch, but you need to use everything with it: flywheel, PP, clutch, TO bearing, fork

Oh I see, that'd need to be figured into the cost too. Shooks.

Hi All:

Yes, 3 Puppies is correct. One can use *all* of the three-speed (J30) transmission parts with the later H41/42 four-speed transmission.

Good luck!

Alan
