Looking to buy at least two inspection covers for 2F bellhousings.

The 40 series has a slightly different bolt hole configuration than the 60 series.

I have a couple of each.

Are they just slightly off from each other?
that might explain why mine never lined up quite right when I had a 75-80 bellhousing and (I think) 60 inspection cover in my FJ62 a few years back

IIRC, only one of the five bottom holes is off. @3_puppies or @pardion might remember too.

There is a difference in the 4-speed bell housing’s.
The first photo, my gloves are pointing to an area that is not the same.
Third photo notice the dust cover attachment holes have one different.
Second photo shows an 1978 cover, the hole layout is different than the later bell housing.

John, is the 1 bellhousing with a step in it a 3F bellhousing that has the rotation in it versus the earlier bellhousing . those take a different cover all together.
the 70's bellhousing and the early 80's bellhousing are the same except for the holes not being drilled and tapped for the side mounts and the 1 or2 bolt holes for the cover.
