I can't say for sure, but I'm putting an H55 behind a 3F-E and so far their have been a lot of interchangeable parts between the 3F-E and 2H. The splines should be fine, I'd check the depth of the pressure plate to make sure it's the same. If it's the same and it bolts onto the flywheel and the throw out bearing rides on the proper surface, I'd say your golden. Someone with an EPC could find out if the parts are listed for both 2H & 2F. The downside is that the clutch for the 2H might be built beefier to handle the diesel torque.

I doubt it because my B clutch doesn't even fit a 3B!

A late 70s up to 1980 B is a spring clutch and the 3B is a diaphragm...so different animals.

The 2F and 2H, same vintage, same clutch.
