I am curious as to what the oil pressure should be. My oil pressure at normal operating speeds is towards the high mark. The needle is normaly on the 3rd mark from the left. Is this normal? My truck runs great but I have been curious.

the stock gauges aren't the most acurate method .. if you wanna know

I thought your oil press maybe is in the same range than mine ( 2H engine ) 2000 rpm operative temp, from 35 - 68 PSI.

Mine shows the same, either we are both OK, or we are both in trouble.
WIth a fresh oil change and engine RPM's up I run just over the half way mark. At idle with fresh oil its sets at about 1/4 of the guage. With old oil it and high RPM's never breaks the half way mark. Hey James you should be getting pretty close to sending your truck back. When is the big day? Later

I'm glad to here there is at least another person with the same 3/4 gauge reading. When I get it to the states I believe I will have to install a real gauge.
Mine sits close to the third mark.. just below it actually. I thought it was a bit high, but it was constant, and the oil level was fine so......
It is pretty dirty.oil though.. I'll let you know after an oil change...
