I did my research and most everyone said that my 2000 LC should have zero problem fitting a 285 75 16 in the stock tire location. I guess I should have checked if it fits with what looks to be a factory tow hitch. I pulled a tape measure and I’ve only got 32” from the hitch to the pan hard bar. I’m wondering if there is another hitch option that sits more rearward and will allow enough space for my new tires.
Thanks guys!

I don't think any of the tow bars are "factory", I believe that they're all port/dealer installed, and may vary based on year or region.

My son's 2000 TLC, originally sold in the Gulf States Toyota region, seems to have that same tow bar (and a 285/75R15 KO2 spare).

My 1999 LX470 (285/75R16 KO2 spare), and 2006 LX470 (275/70R18 KO2 spare), have slightly different tow bars.

I’ll poke my head under my son’s vehicle tomorrow, and check clearance at panhard bar.

Not a great picture, in the dark, standing on my head, and reaching around the rear tire, but…

There is a (small) gap between my son’s spare tire, and the panhard bar.

His vehicle is running factory (rear) control arms, and has -2” lift from a pair of OME 2860 coil springs, which may shift the axle slightly forward?

Maybe the difference is I’m not running a lift…..yet. Thanks a ton for the help.
