. but what motor stuff?
at those km's 12ht is barely broken in, so a basic diesel-check up should be enough... ....
...the glow plugs are burned...
cheers,

BTW...no glow plugs in a 12H-T...it has a manifold pre-heater screen. Cheers.
sort of hijack:
the above statement is put in here so often, but it is blatantly wrong. While these engines can hold up for many kms when maintained properly, a 250k engine is not a young engine, no matter how you look at it. In the best case it is still in good shape, but will have wear can last another 250k. In the worst case it was neglected and is actually shot and will die soon. Same with the 5 speed. In any case the injectors are worn, the pump O rings are tired, the glow plugs are burned, the alt is on its way out, the power steering pump will leak soon and the waterpump needs replacement.
I don't think we are doing ourselves a favor by pretending that these machines are unbreakable and will last forever. Of course now someone will chime in with the famous 1 million km 3B, but there are many, MANY more out there that were in dire need of a rebuild after 300k.
hijack over.
cheers,
J
