I know this isn't 80 series specific, but I use this on my LX450 sooo, I'm gonna put it here. :yuck:
Here's the product if you are wondering what I'm talking about.

So this thing worked perfectly last fall and this spring when I used it, but this summer it stopped working.
It would deflate the tires just fine, but the pressure gauge stopped reading. Very annoying.
Notice a trend? (cold weather=OK, HOT weather=not OK)

After some serious futzing around with it I discovered this seal between the gauge and the relief valve was the culprit.
It was too in soft in the heat and collapsed sealing the hole to the gauge.

It needed a tube that could slip into the hole, yet maintain location in the assembly, and still seal when reassembled...
hmmmm  "I Need a nail with hole in it."
Rummaged around a bit and found an 1/8" rivet fit perfectly.
Removed the core and put it in place.

Reassembled the gauge/deflator and it worked perfectly.

It looks like the ARB deflator lacks the relief valve. Would this keep it simple and eliminate the failure point?
