I hit it the other day, still runnin well. I have a 94 fzj80, and i believe the only problem ever encountered was a blown head gasket a few years ago when my father drove it.

My 1993 is pushing the 245k point. Seems to be going strong, but I try and not beat it to hard now days. ;p

256000 KILOMETRES on my 93 hzj80 and still going strong. Not sure if engine rebuilt by previous owner though.Diesel 80's 4 eva.
