The 34 dollar 1984 22r pickup coil (signal generator), works as well as the 100 dollar, 1984 2f signal generator. Same thing.

Wonder if the 22re coil works with 3fe?

If it looks like a 2f unit, I'm gonna say yes. I merely compared them online and took leap out of curiosity. The truck runs the same. Toyota was never big on total redesigns.
