I bought a chevy automatic transmission for my fj40 with a 350 v8 conversion. I dont want to buy the adapter for $500 to use the toyota T-case, so I want to use a 203 transfer case....since the T-case is is allways in 4wd...could I use it on my fj40 without damaging the front and rear differentials. What speeds could I do?

This question probably sounds really stupid to some of you experts out there :)

Maybe im slow, but the 203 in my garage has a center output for the rear. Or maybe its not a 203.... On a side note, someone like milemarker makes a full to part time kit for the 203.... Thanks, Eric

Yep mile marker. 150-450 depending on what 203 it is. Every pic i have of a 203 is center dump in rear.... You have a centered rear? Thanks, Eric

NP203 is not a full locked all wheel drive--it has a diff in it between front and rear out put.
