Didn't reach the reserve at $75k. Using traditional depreciation reasoning, we could say this thing had an MSRP of $85,000 in 2020. Three years and 24k later, $75k should be an absolutely incredible price for the seller. I'm surprised the seller here had such a high reserve. I want to say the market is cooling, but at the same time, $75k for a vehicle that was $85k three years ago is still pretty damn high.

Yes, I believe that the market is adjusting, but just like housing, list prices and sellers expectations are still way beyond the current market value.

Carsandbids just had a rusty 2016 from MA with 135k miles close in the low 40s.

We’re getting there.

I definitely agree that list price vs selling prices for many things are out of whack.
