Thanks to @luke27617 for the idea/leadership introducing these OEM products and to @FALKOR8 and @BabaBear for joining me to order some units from Australia.

Our bars shipped this week from Cruiser Brothers warehouse in Stockton to to So Cal, Massachusetts and Phoenix. Like @FALKOR8 I am considering Rigid products to occupy the mounts - spots, not bar.

Might see if @murf and the Camelback Toyota team can hang some lights on when they mount the nudge bar.

Anyone running these Rigid D Series Driving Lights? I liked what I saw on @TonyP build with Rigid bar/spots on Trail Tailor front bumper.

The six led driving light probably throws a bit more light than the D-Series flush mounts I have with four LEDs, but mine just aren't up to the task. They get severely overpowered by the 20 inch flood/spot Rigid bar. They are spotties though so the combo of the extra led diodes and the driving light configuration is probably a much different experience.

The new version of the bumper Jason and I are discussing will have them removed and the shackle mounts moved in their place.

If you put together another order for the oem nudge bar, I'd be in for sure

To make this happen, we are relying on the kindness of our Terrain Tamer partners to source the parts and provide logistic support.

To minimize effort/hassle on their end we will probably need to do five or six OEM bars if they can still be had.

SO..........................

IF ANYONE ELSE IS INTERESTED IN A 2016+ OEM NUDGE BAR, PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND WE WILL TRY AND MAKE SOMETHING HAPPEN

Just wanted to convey what a great process this was, and really my sincerest thanks and gratitude goes out to @wardharris for such an awesome transaction. Cant wait to see your build Ward. I'm working on getting mine powder coated black, and I'm also looking to install some lights to them. I was looking at either the ARB Intensity 7" Floods, or the ARB AR40 Combo light bar. The D-series are probably more sensible, for size, but the places i visit in Oregon gets DARK. I will have to mock something up for the light bar to see if it gets in the way of the camera first. BTW, Rigid Industries has a rebate sale right now til NOV 15th.

Thanks, Walter. It was my pleasure and only possible because Luke showed us the way and my partners/friends in Melbourne and Stockton made it happen. I will definitely start a thread once I actually own a truck and start the build-up.

As stated elsewhere, my 200 will be something of a family hauler, mobile office and demo development platform for Terrain Tamer, Harrop and other products. No armor, racks or interior storage planned, so it will not have a lot of the goodies that overlander/trail rigs might carry. Good example - nudge bar vs. bull bar and winch. I am building for what I need, not what I might want. I am an old guy that sells parts - need high mileage / high speed safety and comfort with offroad capabilities. I am also basically lazy. If I need/want to haul a bunch of stuff around and sleep in the field, I am more likely to do something like a well equipped teardrop. Also good for trade shows.......

Ya, the D series aren't going to do any welding but should be good for my needs as driving lights. Thanks for the rebate info as well!

Here are the options available to me via RIGID, together with the units I selected to sit on top of the nudge bar. I would have done the RIGID light bar, but the OEM camera would have been blocked....

Ordered the lights above. If I need longer reach, will consider upgrade of headlights or fog lights. Good results from OPT7 in the past.

Post some pictures when you get them. Want to see how visually they look on the nudge bar. Don't really need them, but the cool factor may be worth it so may follow your lead ;)

Will do Luke - think late October :)

SLIGHT DETOUR - ANOTHER NUDGE BAR FOR SALE

The order didn't come together for the 2017 and then things kind of drug out on the 2018 so my wife decided the following: a) she wants a smaller rig, b) she wants to remodel the house, c) I should buy a used 200 Series AFTER she gets a house car (GX 470 already acquired) that will remain mostly stock AND the remodel is completed.

Bottom line is that when (not if) I get a 200 it will be a 2013 or thereabouts, so the nudge bar for my 2017 is now surplus, sitting in a box, on the shelf in Stockton.

Will fit 2016-2018 - $950 plus the ride

Shoot me a PM if interested!

What a deal! Almost want a spare one. Someone better jump on it.

I can pretty much guarantee this is the last one in USA :)

Haven’t had a chance to put mine on yet. We got into a minor accident and we are replacing the side steps with Bud Built step sliders. We’re opting for Line-X instead of powder coating the step sliders since it would add traction and hopefully eliminate the need for friction tape. So now we’re considering having the nudge bar Line-X’d as well to match. We think it might also help with any pitting or nicks and cut down on the “Bling”. Any thoughts?

Like this? No promises, but IF we added this item to the shipment, how many would want one if the price was around $950 on the ground in California plus UPS Ground to your door?

Now that you will be looking for a 2013 in the future, would you reconsider importing a few OEM Aussie nudge bars for 2013-2015 model years?
