Personally seen videos of people bashing the 200 platform in sand. Decided to give it a whirl at 40lbs. No issues with TC off, center unlocked or not it did not care. Sliders down the line would be nice when the budget allows it.

Love your LX and your photos are really top notch!
Thank you Elliot, still deciding on the RW color atm. The factory color, plus the f sport centers are doing it with the chrome. Maybe I am getting old?

No good updates on the truck. but you can see it here so it counts.
Pulling up to the titty club in the LX sets a tone, but pulling up in this is the tone. Business meeting with some friends/mentors on future house flips, I can say my mentors are doing something right.

McLaren 720S thats x2 as much as the house its in front of.

Do you ever feel like you're just bursting at the seams with energy and need to get out and do something? That's how I was feeling the other day. The weather here in Indiana has been pretty dismal lately, but when the skies finally cleared up for a bit, the pups and I decided to make the most of it.

We took a mini road trip a couple of hours away to check out some new fishing spots around Potato Creek State Park, despite the forecast predicting on-and-off rain all day. We were determined to have a good time and explore some uncharted territory.

The drive was beautiful, with stunning scenery unfolding before us as we made our way towards our destination. When we arrived, we were greeted by the tranquil waters of a the Kankakee river, just waiting for us to cast our lines....but I had nothing with me. Darn

Despite the occasional rain showers that passed through, we had an amazing time exploring the area. It was a much-needed escape from the daily grind, and I felt rejuvenated by the end of the day. Thank you 200 series.

These ditches might look unassuming to the untrained eye, but we know better. We know they're just screamin' for some top water frog action and a chance to catch some snakehead.

Found an ammo disposal area while scouting for camping spots. Some spots looked good, but mosquitoes might be a problem.

More Bechmarking
The morning started off cold....like 40 degrees, had me not even wanting to make the drive. Watching the steam roll off every body of water had me excited for fishing this year. Stopped at a local fishing spot to check out where the water is on the everglades of the north (Kankakee River), the dogs also had to go to the bathroom.....Then it was off to badlands off road park. Been itching to just make the drive down that way. Under 2hrs for me, and it allows me to do any type of testing I want to on my truck. Scratched a running board, which I knew would happen eventually. Was hoping it would make it till I had the sliders waiting to be put on. Asides from that, this thing oddly feels more nimble then my 100, even though you dont actually "feel it" per say. Only thing I miss about the 100 is the plush seats lol.

Its really a pain in the ass to fly a drone, and drive lol. HOWEVER. Negative into a positive. The drone + my phone showing me what it was seeing became my spotter on that side, front facing crappy camera and the sider camera also helped. I still made contact with the running board LOL. Aware the music choice my not be everyone's cup of tea....My tastes ranges lol.

Haven't really done any modifications to the truck. Really enjoying it the way that it is but saving for a quality set of sliders. Really considering the idea of trimming up this rear bumper as well. That is becoming my main issue. Here, I thought I would need better approach angle first.

Went to a local off-road park with a couple buddies and led the pack. Went straight from the highway to the trails and very lazily did not air down. Always left very, very happy with these Cooper AT3 XLT tires, again. Had them on my 100, my tundra, and my FJC. Had to get them on this. 285/70/17 for anyone wondering.

Did not know till now when going back through everything that I did the same obstacle in my old 100 as I did in my new to me 200ish.
Which Landcruiser platform do you think did this obstacle the best at Badlands Off Road Park?

2000 Landcruiser 425,000 miles- 1.5" OME lift & No swaybars with 295/70/18 Goodyear Duratracs at 15lbs

vs(filmed 6yrs apart)

2014 Lexus LX570 180,000 miles- Stock with 285/70/17 Cooper AT3XLT tires at 40lbs ---

The youtube video

Went ahead and ordered a set of 17x8.5 0 offset fifteen52 Turbomac HD Classics. I have honestly just been bored with the rock warriors and want to change it up. I was not able to find these wheels on a LX or 200. That does mean my current RW's will be up for sale once I confirm if I do like the new wheels or not.

Today is a good day.

PXL_20240209_175213462.PORTRAIT.jpg

She definitely needs massaging vs the rock warriors. Rubs a good amount in reverse which means it'll rub terribly wheeling and under full compression+lock. Breaking out the heat gun to start.

17x8.5 +0 & 285/70/17
Low. High. Far away high.

Few hundred miles on the setup now. No wheeling. Only pavement pounding. Still rubbing a good when reversing out of spots/driveways and turning. Slightly annoying. Need to bend and heat up more of the liner I am guessing? Regardless, I do love the way the offset looks as well as the wheels.
