Lol, why you need a low profile jack for a LX?

I have 6 ton axle stands and they barely reach the frame.
It sounds like a no limit budget build on a sub $20k LX. I could never fathom spending that on mods for equivalent or more than what I paid for the car. You've listed easily $20k additional on your LX.

If I were to do it:
Gears - you don't need for 33.5s-34s. The 6 speed will handle it. And you've got a 3.91 rear end already. 4.88s, you'll be revving sky high on the highway. ATRAC will be sufficient unless you're in really sticky situations. Thats easily $5-6k saved without gears and lockers. DIY for gears? No way I'd recommend anyone to do this part. Measuring and getting everything right in gears is something I leave to trans and gear specialists. Do something or measure the slightest bit wrong and you'll chew through a set of gears in no time.

You talked about a BBK? Save yourself the $3k + install. The stock brakes are sufficient for 34s. I'd recommend go 17s and to a 295/70/17 tire size of 285/75/17.

Here's what I'd do if I had $10k for just parts, maybe some labour
-Tires and wheels $2k
-Front bumper ARB + winch - $2k+ labour to install and wire
-Rear bumper -$3k, would skip the LRA tank and just have jerrys on the rear
-Slee AHC sliders - basically unobtainable still but out there
-Roof rack - $1200
-Snorkel - $500
-Whatever money left on drawers and electrical system

This is exactly what I will be doing on my LX minus the Snorkel. I also got put on the Slee sliders list, so I hope they come through. If not, then on to another plan. As for your numbers, they are all about right. Thanks for the advice.

Really if you're going to be loading down a LX570 with the weight you're going to plan. I'd sort out the AHC limitations over gears first, especially important since you're increasing the pressures with the sensor lift.

Anything above 1500lbs over empty, AHC has a good chance of not cooperating. Options haven't been looking great so far, pretty much you're limited to coil spacer, regular LC springs (would ride like *hit unloaded and hit or miss loaded down), or hit up Toyota Nestle EU for their armored LC AHC kit (they don't sell that kit directly to the public).

Thanks, i have heard of members from overseas doing this, but was not sure how they got the parts. Also, i apologize if i overreacted and came off rude earlier.

Great thread, a lot of good discussion. If I end up with that 2009 LX that we talked about a while ago, maybe I'd be a guy to buy your current tires. The 2009 has a set of Nokians, two new, two bald. TBD on how it goes- thanks as always for your help!

It's my pleasure, brother. Always glad to help anyway i can!

Low mode. I have considered adjusting sensor to lower it 1.25 inches so my dog can jump into the back, but i think i will go with a WeatherTech PetRamp instead.

@DPA200 i really like the Rock Warriors. Anyone know if they ever go on sale? I am trying to figure out the best time to buy each of the things on my list. I remember icon wheels being up to 40% off on Black Friday from one vendor, and was wondering if the Rock Warriors ever go on sale. If not i may wait until late 2020/Black Friday and go for icons, unless a good sale comes sooner. Until then i have plenty of tread left on the stock tires to hold me off. Although i would ideally like to have tires and wheels done by LCDC time in June, but i don't think i want to spend the full $3k on Rock Warriors. I am also getting 6 wheels so the difference in price is worth holding out for a sale.

New they are only available from a Toyota Dealer. As they are a limited quantity item I don't see them ever going on sale with one possible exception 2nd party sales. Most folks buy used, then clean them up as needed.

This one looks solid, 23.4 max height and 3 ton enough to do tires? Also the 6 ton jack stands do look small.

My dad wasn’t a big fan of the wood ramp idea so I will hold it off for now and consider renting a bay for when I prep, clean and spray the undercarriage. I honestly thought it was a good idea to recycle the wood and save myself money in the process. I was thinking something similar to the pictures below but a little Wider and higher in height. Oh well back to drawing board as to how I will get the clearance I want for coating the undercarriage.

What is difference between low profile and super duty? Low profile one is long reach and max height of 24.25, both 3 tons. Looks identical otherwise.

If they still have the 3ton $90 grey one that works too.

Drive on ramps are 30$ a pair.

Yep, I ended up getting rhino ramps 12k for 40 bucks. Thanks! The floor jack was too big for me to lug around.
You’ll need one eventually. . .

If you lift from the axles or control arms up front you don't need to worry about to much height on the jack. Although I got a low profile from Harbor freight that's 36" or something like that

The biggest floor jack they had when i went was the daytona heavy duty one and the low profile one for about 23-24 inches max height. Do you know the model of your jack?
