That’s a nice looking ride. I’m hoping by the start of next year prices will further decrease. I don’t expect them to plummet but seems they’ve been incrementally for the last few months. Timing is everything with these LCs the way everyone sweeps them so quickly!

Agreed. It's a secondhand market full of very aggressive/motivated buyers.

If you guys are interested in this rig, here's some intel. It was sold through Manheim Dallas in the last 30 days & they picked it up for $26500. Figure transportation fees & make-ready, they're in it for about $28K.

Thanks for the info, how did you acquire it? That's some good intel to have. I'm not in a position to buy anything yet but when I do, I'd like to have that kind of gouge before going into wheel and deal.

I'm a car dealer myself in Dallas. I was interested in seeing how much this truck would bring, so I kept an eye on it when it came through at the auction. If it were black/tan, it would've been my truck. :D

Nice! The secrets out, you may be getting more PMs than ever before! BOLO for mine when I return to the US!

Best to see this one in person - I was interested and a buddy near there checked it out. There is a lot of wear and staining on the interior. Would necessitate replacement of a lot of trim pieces in front and back if you cared at all about appearance. Looks like dried milk but won't come off and it's everywhere. Cleaner won't touch it as its IN the plastics

Any idea what causes this discoloration/staining? I've seen similar stains and blotches on the interior door handles and dash surrounds of several 200s. My guess is some type of caustic cleaner, not sure? It seems like a common issue with these vehicles.

Thanks for the post.

No idea - must be a porous plastic or coating they used. The LX's do not have this issue anywhere. A quick search did not reveal any other Toyotas having this problem. Guy selling it said 'someone will buy it' Not me.

Wow, that girl has some blems! If you look at the pictures on the site they definitely show, but not as clearly as the above. Always pays to check them out in person. Guess that's why she went to auction...
