2007 LX with Check Engine/VSC OFF/VSC Track Lights (1 Viewer)

Looking for some guidance as I have had the 07 LX for over a year with zero issues (115k miles). Yesterday, the three lights above came on for first time, did some searching and read about O2 valve and pump issues. Took to dealer who found that to be the issue and requires a 2k fix. Yet some seem to report this issue as sporadic, coming and going. Just wondering if this is a necessary fix or something to avoid hoping not truly a problem.

That is a code for the secondary air injection system
