2005 Lexus GX470 Well built-

151,000 miles, no kdss or nav, timing belt done at 90k, do dash issues, ash blue. Vehicle now runs and drives perfect. When I first purchased I was not happy with front end so I replaced EVERYTHING. I just replaced the gears (stock) after shearing a pinion on a trail. I built this vehicle with intention to keep long term for overland and light wheeling. Dream was the family would all wheel together. Well, life threw me a curve ball and I need to sell. For sale $14K OBO. Plenty of pics upon request. Located in central MO.

· Initial baseline with new plugs, diff fluids, transfer fluid, filters, MAF sensor cleaned, etc…

· Delete running boards

· Airbag delete and installed Ironman foam cell shocks/coilovers (41mm) front from Metal Tech

· Light racing UCAs

· Ironman foam cell in rear (total lift is about 3") No rubbing

· Brand new Cooper ST Maxx 285/70/17 (less than 2,000 miles)

· New CV axles in front

· New moog ball joints front

· New tie rod ends

· New blue pit wheel bearings on front

· New rotors, calipers and brakes all the way around

· New gears after breaking pinion on the trail

· Bolt on trailer hitch from FJ to help departure angle

· Metal Tech OPOR sliders, bolted and welded

· RCI steel skid plates front/bash and lower control arms

· Needs SAIS bypass ($150) to fix sensor error

Nice. You've done a lot of good work and it looks very clean. Just needs a good owner who is ready to wheel. GLWS

I am in central Missouri, Columbia, which is right in between KC and St. Louis. I've had a couple of questions on the SAIS bypass. My GX has never gone into limp mode. You can read about the error code (its all electronic and not necessary IMO) on MUD or the toyota 120 forum. Lots of discussions and solutions. It's a bolt on kit, no drama. The kit eliminates the error code is all, does not effect vehicle. It was on my list along with lights and HAM. I have wheeled the GX with local LC club here and did almost everything the tricked 80s could do but differently and more careful.

I will get pics of underside. I am having neck surgery tomorrow on blown disk so it may be a couple days. Vehicle was bought from family in Kansas City. It's midwest, so there was light surface rust by radiator. I wire wheeled everything and POR any and all spots I could find to make it look right. I'll post pics in couple of days when I'm able.

thanks

Good luck with surgery and a speedy recovery.

Trying to return the PM requests. Let me know if any additional pics are wanted. I'll get photos from underneath tomorrow. My son can crawl under and take the pics.

Dammit. The good ones are always too far away.

How close are you to Springfield?

From Springfield MO only 2.5 hours. Attached are pics underneath.

I wish you had posted this 3 weeks ago. I just bought an 07 sport with less miles, but I would have bought yours sight unseen. My dad lives in Missouri too, so it would have been convenient.

That is waaay cleaner than the '08 I looked at 2 weeks ago that only had 24K miles on it.

:(

If you still have it in 3-4 weeks, we'll talk. I love road trips, I just don't have time right now.

Fried is a great guy. Worked with me every step of the way for a remote sale, even though neither of us had sold or bought remote before! (For anyone interested, we talked to each other a lot, exchanged info and pics of licenses, title, etc, to be sure it was a safe and secure transfer.)

Appreciated his help and excited to get this beast out on the trail!!

I can strongly recommend Enterprise Auto Transport, they did a great job brokering for me at a total shipping cost cheaper than USHIP or anyone else I contacted. Paid them $200 upfront + $550 cash to the driver when the truck was unloaded in VA.
Saved myself a 12 hour drive home -- which I would have loved -- but with 2 very young kids, just wasn't possible.

Also found a great kit for the SAIS bypass from Jeff @ the Toyota120 forums.

Awesome truck and very happy to own it!
