I am posting it for my son. He is Tampa, FL. He called me this morning and told me that the head gasket (cyl #6) is blown on his 2004 Toyota 4Runner. it has about 195K miles. The dealer will charge an arm and a few legs to replace it. He doesnt know any mechanics he can trust to do it. I am looking for recommendations as to where he will be able to take it to get it fixed. Plus, is it worth replacing the gasket or get another used engine with low miles.
