Woohoo! That’s great news. Hopefully you can get it all working including the bluetooth.

FYI: I use the BT45-TOY Bluetooth adapter in my 2003 LC and have not had any issues with fuses blowing out.

I had the #63 fuse blow the first time I installed my rear view camera, but I think that was because I had the +/- reversed when I first spliced into the tail light for the camera.

Thanks for all the input.

Update: I discovered through trial and error, let’s say, that my fuse #31 labeled ACC 7.5amp denoted on autogenius as instrument panel lights was blown. I dismissed this in my prior trial and error but came around to realize it was important. I replaced it with vais unplugged. At this point the vais is still unplugged, display unit is firing right along. BT phone working. My test at this point is to leave the vais unplugged for a bit to make sure it doesn’t short out again, then I will plug it back in the determine if it is blowing my acc fuse. If it does I will then look into if wires are kinked along the way because the vais has worked well for the last 2 months since I got it.

Things are looking better. I even fixed my cup holder top as it was not staying closed, now it works well, as I took advantage of the center console being apart.

I’m having the same problem touch screen down. I’ve checked fuse under the hood and drivers footwell both ok. Where are the other fuses located please

No the only item I have is a gadget plugged into the cigarette lighter to enable me to play my phone through the cars speakers. I've unplugged it but the screen problem still persists. Do you know how many fuses and relays relate to the touch screen?
One guy has said its the screen controller unit on the back of the climate control panel. You may know him Nayhab, very popular on Facebook
Cheers

Just a gadget plugged into the cigarette lighter. I've unplugged it and drill the screen down . Do you know how to remove the vents to get to the screws thst hold the screen in please

I had the same issue and it ended up being a bad gateway ECU (under drivers side dash area). This was over 2 years ago, there’s a thread somewhere on here with info. I had a “Check connection to the AC” message on screen and no physical buttons worked on mine. I had the local Toyota dealer do the diagnostics and after ruling out the MFD and AC amplifier. Here's the part number for the gateway ECU: #89111-60030. And, a link to another thread I was posting on: AC amplifier issue - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/ac-amplifier-issue.1140825/#post-14115889
