I have a new to me 2004 lx470 in exceptional condition (no rust)

The AHC on it works
My first vehicle with AHC so the issues I’m fixing to describe, I don’t have one to compare to
it seems to feel like a boat on the road when changing lanes (slow wheel movement, nice and easy gradual merge into the other lane)
It does it less with sport but the vagueness seems excessive? Maybe front end looseness feel?
What’s the usual culprits to check out on these ?
