I recently purchased a 2004 LC and have been having issues with the radio/speakers. The only speakers that work are the 2 small upper front door speakers and an occasional rattle from the sub (Seems to be in the back)

My thoughts originally were to replace the speakers, but through some research, it sounds like there may be a bad amplifier. That being said, I have heard some people mention that bypassing the amp is an option (everything I have seen for amp bypassing is for 2000ish cruisers with an aftermarket head unit) Has anyone bypassed the amp on a 2004 LC and is there anything keeping me from attempting to bypass the amp before I go to the trouble of ordering and installing new speakers? What would be the benefit of leaving the amp installed if there is an option to bypass it?

Should I just take to my local shop and get this worked on or is this something that I can figure out with some effort and additional research/guidance?

Thanks
