I’ve decided to go back to the dark side and build out my recently purchased 100 series. No room in the garage for both so she has to go. Sounds extremely cliche to say, but I will regret selling this. At least I’m mentally prepared.
I also threw this up on eBay so below is the text from that.

2004 Lexus GX470
JTJBT20X440038729
CLEAN TITLE IN MY NAME (tags just renewed, good until Feb 2022)
237K
Passed smog 12/23/20

This has been a California car since day one. Zero rust. Zero rust...once again...zero rust anywhere on this truck. Even the windshi
is Original (which can be prone to rust if aftermarket glass is installed incorrectly). Two owners before me. First owner from 2004-2008, and the second owner from 2008 to 2020 when it was traded in. I purchased it completely stock down the stereo and slowly made improvements along the way. This truck has a stack of dealership records including both 90k services (timing belt, water pump etc...) at the Lexus dealership at miles 99,472 and again at the dealerhsip at miles 181,061 I am a Land Cruiser enthusiast and as much as I love this truck, I am going back to a Land Cruiser. I encourage you to plug in the vin into the Lexus service history site and see how well-kept this GX is. The Carfax also shows a long list of service history leading up to my ownership in July 2020. Below is a detailed list of condition and mods.

Exterior:
-Original paint, all matching vins. Zero clear coat or fading. Garaged since day one (including my ownership) some very very light ghost trail pinstriping in certain light, a few low scratches in the bumpers from trail use(see photos)
-Depo Sport headlights
-white knuckle off road sliders

Interior:
-non-nav trim model with Pioneer stereo (sounds amazing)
-Front seat bottom leathers replaced, all three rows in fantastic condition, all seat controls work. Trim level with no seat heaters
-weathertech floor liners all 3 rows.
-all windows, door locks, buttons etc... work perfectly. Literally every single bulb in the interior works. I’ve spent a lot of money replacing burnt out bulbs with OEM Lexus bulbs.
-a/c and heater work fantastic without a single issue.

Engine/Drivetrain
Zero check engine lights or any warning lights. No overheating, no starting issues, no weird noises.
Completely stock,
Last 90k service done at Lexus dealership at 181,061
Recent fluid baseline at 236k including:
Full synth oil change and air filter
Full synth diff and transfer case fluid
OEM Toyota WS transmission flush using 12 quarts

Suspension
Eibach 2.0 Adjustable height coilovers in the front
Eibach adjustable height spring kit in the rear with matching shocks (all four corners have height adjustment)
Freedom off road upper constrol arms
Toyo Open Country AT3’s 285/70/17
Toyota TRD Pro 4Runner wheels

Known issues that need servicing:
-Transfer case output seal is ‘’damp” (has never dripped on my garage floor, not once)
-Sometimes I smell coolant when the motor is running and I’m outside, sometimes I don’t...currently a mystery.
