New $11K as of 9/4/2004. Has Jardine 2 into 1 full titanium exhaust with carbon can, red hugger, Renthal +2 in rear, New DID gold X-ring chain, Sargeant seat, PCIII mapped for single exhaust, Euro fender eliminator kit, K&N air filter and flush mount signals. All together more than $2K in extras, plus the stock goodies are collecting dust in the basement.
Only 3,000 miles + what I put on it until it sells.
For those who don't already know, the RC51 is Honda's liter size racing V-twin. It won the Suzuka 8hr it's first year, 2002 AMA and World superbike championships and is also the bike that holds the world's fastest speeding ticket of 205 mph. It won't go anywhere near that fast, but who can argue with a state trooper with an infallible stop-watch in hand?
Never raced or abused at all. Serviced by Honda dealership. Good looking bike with one of the best sounding exhausts out there (loud). Rock solid @ speed and in the tight stuff.
