I already purchased the filter and fipg but it seems like you all are saying it is unnecessary for a gently used 135k 100.

I guess I will just do an exchange for now and save the filter and fipg for later.

Still would be good to know what would determine the need for a filter replacement. Thanks

I wouldn't drop the pan at 135K unless there was reason to suspect unusual wear or contamination.

Did mine around 290K due to unknown history and distinct impression the fluid hadn't been touched in the last 50-100K miles.
