I am experiencing vibration in the steering wheel when braking. Brake issue? Only issue I saw was in attached photo. Any help would be greatly appreciated

When I had it happen, new pads helped, new rotors fixed it.

Yeah almost certainly warped rotors or stuck caliper.

I had symptoms like this, and it turned out to be my passenger side wheel bearings. I would jack up the front and check for play in the bearings before proceeding.

Worn CVs will cause this as well. Check your wheel bearings and CVs for play.

I need some advice. The shop is advising that while changing cv boot, themaxle could be seized and could damage diff when removing. Truck has 180k on it. Would a split boot be an option ? Does anyone have any experience with a split boot or with a seized stuck axle?

I don't recall anyone damaging their diff by pulling out the CV..... Ever. Is this shop familiar with this particular front axle?

Edit: As I considered it, maybe they were talking about the diff seals? If so, then yes, they are really easy to damage when changing out CVs, but also they are cheap and easy to swap and it is a good idea anyway.
