Hi @gaijin would you able to recommend the RCTIP for my LC200 running LT285/70/R17 121/118S load range E?

You looked right over it a few posts back..

I'm not sure what the point of your post is @prwillard2 , but it appears you may be confused about GVWR and tire Load Limit.

Here are some facts:

LC200 GVWR is 7385 pounds

LT285/70R17 Load Range C tires have a RCTIP of 40psi on the LC200 which yields a Load Limit of 2315 pounds/tire (for 4 tires that's 9260 pounds)
LT285/70R17 Load Range D tires have a RCTIP of 40psi on the LC200 which yields a Load Limit of 2315 pounds/tire (for 4 tires that's 9260 pounds)
LT285/70R17 Load Range E tires have a RCTIP of 40psi on the LC200 which yields a Load Limit of 2315 pounds/tire (for 4 tires that's 9260 pounds)

So... for tires of the same size, inflated to the proper Recommended Cold Tire Inflation Pressure for the vehicle, tire Load Range has nothing to do with tire Load Limit or vehicle GVWR.

To address the question @marketShark asked, the Load Range C tires you purchased have more than enough Load Limit to be used safely on your LC200.

Added to the database. Yes, Rock Warriors fit 2017s (285/70/17 KOs) and yes removing all four wheel locks with 3/4 drives and a hammer is possible yet annoying. Beers and 2 friends made it more fun. Happy with the results.

Anyone running the new Method 703 in a 17"? They show a 0/4.75 offset/backspace. I'd be running a 285/75R17. That 0 offset is 2-3/8" out from stock... seems like a lot. The other rim I'm looking at would be an Icon Rebound with a better 25mm offset, but I like the idea of the 'Method bead lock technology'...

I’m running the 702s (zero offset) with the same size Toyos. With stock suspension you will need to trim and adjust some plastic up front, but it’s not a huge deal.

Swapped out my general grabber ATXs for the Kenda Klever RT in LT275/70r18. Haven't had a chance yet to test their offroad ability, on pavement the road noise is slightly more present (whoosh sound) then the grabbers which were barely louder then the Michelin defender ltxs that came on it when I purchased it last year. The ride feels softer with the kendas. The grabbers were a LT285/65r18.

Have a slight kdss rub at full lock while moving on the passenger side sway bar. These kendas run tall and wide for LT275/70r18. They are Listed as 33.43 for height and 11.22 for width. Top to bottom I measured their mounted height as roughly 32.5".

@gaijin would you be so kind to provide the RCTIP for my LC200 with LT275/70/R18 125/122R load. Based on what I have read here I have them set at 41psi, is this correct?

I’m looking at that size, 275x70R18, but really want someone to pioneer the 35x10.47R17 size.

Can't beat the price. $160 from Wally world with free shipping. Going to be interesting to see how they hold up long term as they are a pretty new tire. The jeep and tacoma guys have been singing their praise. Havent come across any longterm reviews so time will tell.

I quickly read your message the first time.. looking back, now I know what you meant. I want someone to do the brunt work on a LC as well so I can then go and get the 275/80/17 MTs

Haha, exactly. If I knew the proper offset and what fender work was required I’d likely pull the trigger.
Also, slow down when you read. :flipoff2:

I'd like to help, but your post is confusing.

You say you switched to Kenda Klever R/T in 275/70R18, but Kenda do not make an ISO-Metric tire in that size.

Then you seem to switch tires and ask for the RCTIP for an "LT275/70R17 125/122" tire, but Kenda makes no tire in that size, either.

Please state clearly the Make, Model and size of the tire for which you want the RCTIP, and confirm it is for an LC200.

TIA

Tires are the kenda Klever rt LT275/70/r18. Apologize for the confusion, thanks for your help and info!
