Looks like I am gonna have to do this setup lol. Probably mount the main unit under the passenger seat and the mic cable from the back of the seat. Found a guy in Australia that does back of hood mounting for an antenna that won't hit the windshield when you open the hood, pretty slick setup and clean. Just make sure the main unity gets plenty of ventilation specially if youre transmitting on high power(50 watts).
Mic cable runs from the main unit thats mounted in the back(cargo area), and runs under the rear seats, under the center rear passenger floor mat, along the center console and comes up right side of the drivers seat.
