BaT is a great site, but don't expect to get a steal on this thing if you want to bid. Plenty of people with deep pockets over there.

That thing is nice. It will end up out of my price range, but think someone will be genuinely stoked on it. Good luck with the sale, but I don’t think you’ll need it.

Man, I'm torn here. Really nice rig, great top notch work. BaT is a market maker: the dilemma - if these "work" on BaT the market will get even more stupid-er expensive-r, demand can get even hotter, prices rise to meet demand, more folks get into the game buying and building rigs draining supply . . .

Could you not hold off until I find my truck late this year? :D Flip side, would be good for a lot of folks if this one helps make the market. Been some 100's showing up on BaT lately.

Also - be interested in getting pointed at a good discussion on the merits/demerits of this kind of conversion vs. 200 series - specifically the 4x4 system, other major mechanical differences. Was also looking at Sequoias myself under the realization 90% of my driving would be on-road. Sure it's nice to fantasize, but in reality - I don't "need" a fully built 200. Want? He!! yes!

I've been on BaT for years. It went from a site where you could steal a nice used car to overpriced shark frenzy.

It's great for sellers but not so great for buyers. I recently sold a vehicle on BaT and was very happy with the results, and I've bid on some like a 993 and was blown out of the water at the last minute. Oh well!

Lol same. You're right about the seller aspect. My dad bought a 911SC for $27k all in, owned it for 6 years and sold it for $50k on BaT.
