Hi, my first post! I just bought over the weekend a 2013 LC and drove it back home 1100 miles . I really love the LC and finally happy I got one. I did run across a couple of problems, first the rain sensor that controls the wipers, I disconnected it as I read on this forum. Next problem I observed, a couple of times I'd close and lock the door I noticed the folding mirrors folded in without doing anything. I never hit the button to do this but it was strange it did by itself. It doesn't happen all the time so the problem is not repeatable. Has anybody ever experienced this as well?

Thanks and I'm really happy to be able to log into the forum knowing I really own the car!

Congrats. My '13 LC mirrors only fold when I have the ignition on and the button pressed. I haven't seen the feature to auto fold. Maybe check the infotainment menus for a feature, or wait for someone who knows techstream to reply.

I don’t recall your model year offering auto fold as my previous ‘15 didn’t either. My ‘19 does though and I find the feature a must have. It takes Toyota awhile to catch up with other automakers.

Thanks for the reply. I'm thinking as you indicated there is only one way to fold the mirrors in/out and not by any automatic way. I believe s 2016 model on up this is an option.

It could be a "gremlin" since it randomly happened twice. Connection issue, moisture, something like that.
