Hey Whitey, your 45 is coming along very nicely, I like the idea of using the truck daily, and your addition of the PTO. Your trucks sister is coming along as well. A little spring work, clean up and 16 inch splits.

Mark, your 45 looks great! What springs are on it? It looks lifted, i would have loved to retain the original paint, i did leave the interior all original.
Whitey, I had the original springs re-arched 2 to 2 1/2 inches by a great spring guy here in the Medford area. I replaced all the bushings and added a leaf to the front to handle the extra weight of the factory winch. I still need to order new shocks. Trying to keep it level.
My paint is not great but I have no rust issues at all. Inside the cab is fantastic. I will replace the seats with the coral material though. I did have have some small holes that were drilled in the bed sides by the PO that we filled. Everything works and it drives great.

I had some 34x9 swampers on splits laying around so.... I put them on! A little big but go down the road just fine. Mark i had the same rear bumper and cut the ends down.
Yea, my bumper was a Barden made in Portland, Oregon. At least it was not welded on. I am still working on a few things. Just noticed the heater core leaking, top of radiator leaking and "mint" dome light just quit working. May need to sell if I keep finding things. 
It did come with an original primer fuel pump and a loose Darth Vader light in the glove box.
My driver side wing window rubber was not in good shape. I fixed it by cutting down a long one. It will work until the ones here on Mud hopefully get done.

I found some of my left over bugcatcher weatherstrip and was just able to do the drivers window( were talking an inch left!) put some working wiper motors in, fixed the heater fan motor, going to drive it to work tomorrow! 22 miles! I hope it holds together!
You know it will be an adventure, just like always. Oh, and you will have a Big Smile on your face.
I think I am going to notify some of my SM County Sheriff buddies to pull you over and do a full safety check which will lead to impound to a certain location!

I know where one has been in impound in a back yard for 8 years!!!
Made it to work today,two hands on the wheel, slow, noisy, sliding all over the seat, smells like a chevron refinery, brakes? do you need them? It eventually comes to a stop!! Did a couple stops,gas,parts run,every stop included talking to someone about the truck. It doesnt matter if these are stock or fully built,they all get the attention! Good times!

Stock size tires and wheels actually make it a pleasant ride, steers, stops, and has plenty of power!
Whitey, I like the non hub look. I have some Yokohama Y742S's on my FST. I think they would look great on the 45. I am going to swap them in the next few days and see how they look. The completely stock look is fantastic.
