For enthusiast vehicles, less is generally more later down the road. I think that is indicative with the Heritage models that do not have a third row standard.

If you have to ask, then I assume the third row is not necessary. Save money now and potentially sell later for more.

I laugh looking at BMW M cars. Big money option cars like leather, sunroof, and navigation sell for significantly less than comparable cars with cloth, slicktop, and smooth dash.

Where is that?

2 Row HE was $2k more than 3 row at every dealer I shopped at. This also says so:

Well to be fair, that isn't exactly an apples to apples comparison. A two row Heritage vs a three row base are different vehicles.

I'd be interested to see the price delta on a two row HE vs a three row HE.

Wow! I was curious. I just traded in 2017 base M3. With stick, cloth and no sunroof. I got really good price from DEALER(straight trade in with no purchase). I owned it for about 4.5 years and 31k miles and it ended up costing $250/month which is unbelievable. I know it's weird times but still..

Now it makes sense because I see same cars for sale for less than what I got on trade in with leather/auto/etc..

If it was Yas Marina Blue I'm going to jump out the window. Would have loved to have picked that up from you. Test drove that exact car a few years ago and still don't know why I didn't pull the trigger. F80s are sweet rides.

I miss my E90 M3. Zero option car similar to yours it sounds like. It would sell for bananas money today compared to what I had it for...

No. Mine was base. Base means $0 options, did custom order. It was white with 18 wheels. Which, BTW, I didn't have on a car and dealer took it as is. I sold wheels for $1800 week later..

Ah I didn't realize YMB was a $$ option. Alpine White sure is clean! My Jet Black E90 was also a $0 option car, no boxes ticked. Sheesh, I'm getting teary-eyed thinking of it now

Identical HEs, only difference was 3rd row was $800 more for 3rd row.

Oh, my bad saw "cruiser" in forum name, forgot Lexus is part of that.

Dont worry about it, we all make huge mistakes sometimes. LOL

Yeah, 300 section of forum is weird I noticed. I am moving (getting my LX tomorrow) from 100 series forum where there is no differentiation between LC or LX. Here it's obvious. But to me - LX is better. For the same money you get more.

Ok, I am done :)

A definite deal breaker for me on any purchase is base audio. I dont even listen to much music anymore but still, i want something balanced between the podcasts!
Is the base LX system the LC JBL? I dont know anything about it.

It wasn't branded as such but it sounded similar to the JBL that's in our LC. More than enough for 90% of owners.

It was actually a tad over $1400, but since this was about 2 row vs 3 row resale and comparing apples to apples I think he was talking about long term price variability, if any, between a 2 row HE and a 3 row HE.
