Was out doing the off road thing the other day and when washing the beast afterwards noticed one of the rear 2" round red Toyota reflectors was missing from the lower grill outside area of the turn signal. Well we all know that they are not a easy find anymore other than maybe a bike reflector.
I was turned on to this possible LED 2" red, clear white or amber and even blue replacement reflector information from a local FJ40 owner that is on the Ebay web site.
I'm just passing it on to anyone that may be in the same situation of missing reflector or none.
Haven't got them yet but I will post if someone has not already.

Anyone that is interested in the aftermarket rear red reflector that can be used on most of the FJ45s, I received the one's I ordered today.
Made a bit of time to see how the fair up in comparison to the originals and I was surprised.
It seems that whoever made them had the Toyota reflectors in mind or used the original for a template. When matched there was very little difference in size as seen in the one photo.
Even better for my install was that the original had a mount bump seen in photo that fell into the upper hole on the rear deck to line up the reflector when installed, so the aftermarket one's wires for the LEDs fit just right into that hole and the screw mount also fit like a glove as seen in photo into the other hole.
The obvious difference is that the aftermarket has the black outer ring and the original is chrome, I kind of like the chrome but can live with black. The original is plastic backed constructed as is the aftermarket so no real change there. I am sure it is waterproofed somewhat as it has the LED inside the housing.
The LED side of the reflector/lights is that they are pretty darn bright (photo 2) when the bright side is on as in a turn signal or brake light. The running light side is good. I plane using the brake system inline with the LED.
Sum it up - if you are in need and cannot find the originals, this is a good way to go and you even get lights. Cheap in price and to easy to install.
There you go hope this was a help to someone out in 45 land.
Oh by the way found the lost reflector that started all this, that's a another story.
Cheers

Glad it helps someone.
Just remember that someone in the past was looking for some reflectors.
Heading up in a month.

Love to fly I saw a picture of your rig and was wondering where did you get your silver ring rear reflectors from ? Are they similar to the fj40 ones ?

That part you are referring to was on the truck when I bought it. It is the one of the original reflectors. The others as seen were on Ebay.
I was told that the later FJ40 rear corner reflectors with sliver rims that had the black corner mounts, one could take that corner mount apart and use the sliver rimed reflector on the FJ45. I have taken them apart before and they are the same type to mount on a 45, center screw and small pin on the back to line up with the holes on the 45. I know they still sell them with silver but at a hefty price. I like the ones I have now as they work with the brakes lights, reflect and are LED.
Cheers
