2.5 or 3.0 litre

Hi All my friend is looking to buy a cruiser and just wonder what the 2.5 DT was like? and know problems?

The cylinder head is not bulletproof on the 2LT. The 1KZ-T also happen to crack, less often though. If you can afford the 3.0, then go for it it's a great engine. A good 2.4 works very well offroad thanks to the gearing but is somewhat pathetic on the motorway.
