no throwout bearing?
Made that mistake only once .
As mentioned, manifolds and then anything else you can attach that doesn't need the body. It only gets harder once the tub is on. Looks great!

no throwout bearing?
Done. This is an "everything bagel" restoration. Every part touched.no throwout bearing?
Me? I would do driveshafts and mount the body.
Been...oh... 24 months since I touched that.
Yea, I should put those back on as well. Was almost the first thing I did... will be nice to get them off the shelf.
Scott to make an earlier question plain, did you install the throwout bearing while you were installing the transmission ? There was no throwout bearing visible in any of your pictures .

My tranny Top plate was removed by someone elese and now i am putting it back together. I have 3 springs and 3 ball bearings....
Can someone please tell me where the ball bearing go? I see the spring location as per photo. Does the ball bearings go under each of the springs?
Much appreciated. Looked all over the site and did not find the exact answer I’m looking for.

Thanks Michael.Scott the the clutch fork pivot is bolted to the inside of the bellhousing. You probably did not remove it. There would have been no need to.
The land cruiser nut is common to all 40 and 55 series from 1969 to 1986. It is 22 x 1.50 mm--
toyota part number 90170-22058
I don't know about the minitruck.
I came up with a solution to the nut issue, seems the threads on the under side of the splined shaft of the PS steering box were damaged and caused the threads of the nut to become striped. I was able to locate a 22mm x 1.50 tap and die set, which wasn’t easy and fixed the threads on the shaft and on the inside of the nut. It all went back together fine and is up and running nicely.
Should I be concerned about the nylon nuts I used? I used flat washer under and behind the nuts and bolts also lock-tight on the threads. Thanks for all the helpful comments!
