Noticed the mighty GREEN mardi Gra float this morning would not drop into O/D at 80k which it usually does

It had a torrid weekend in the juungle towing a HEEP and I busted my winch (story later).

Any clues as what it might be? I wonder if I did something pulling the HEEP 15+k for 10 hours in low range? That would be bad especially when the HEEP also smashed into the back of GREEEN near the end THe damage is worse than it looks I fear.

There's a cable from the gearbox to the ECU which sometimes causes gear change problems. Check the connections.

Excuse for a manual box!!

Problem found

ECU died.

SPare installed and this one being sent for repair.

They can be repaired here depending on what has died.

Maybe is better try to find a mechanical pump (NOT ECU)

We have a repair station for the ecu's.

I am going to test a A/T ecu in my lc which is M/T. M/T are even rarer than the A/T.

On lulo's comment on changing to mechanical, not yet for me but its always going to be a long term plan when the ecu does eventually go.
