1HZ Oil Pan - which oil strainer? (1 Viewer)

I'm swapping an 80 Series 1HD-FT in a BJ chassis. The rear-sump was far too close to the diff for my liking, so I ordered a flat-bottomed 1HZ/1HD oil pan (12101-17100) to swap in. I assumed it needed a different oil pump pickup, so I looked at the parts diagram, which lists:

15104-17070
15104-17020
15104-17050
15104-17050

as the possibilities. I ordered 15104-17070 on a hunch, but it is far too tall to use. With it installed, I can't get the oil pan within 3 inches of the block before the pickup bottoms out on the oil pan. Does anyone who has this oil pan know which of the other 3 pickups works? The parts diagram doesn't offer measurements, so I'm in a guessing game right now.

15104-17070 is the strainer for a 2000 HZJ79. The oil pan is 12101-17200

The oil pan 12101-17100 is off a pre 99 HZJ7* and uses the strainer 15104-17050

The oil strainer 15104-17020 is off a HZJ7* from 90-92

So I think you need the strainer 15104-17050
