I am working on increasing the fuel filtering on my mid 90s 1HZ. My question is how strong the suction created by the pump is. My ideal would be to use a factory filter up by the engine, a racor pre-filter and water separator along the frame rail, and possibly keep a small clear inline filter near the tank to pickup any large crap and be able to see if there is a change in quality/dirt without having to pull either the racor or the factory filter.

Do you guys think I would get enough fuel delivery with this or could I be starving the engine?

I am running a turbo and will be upping the fuel a bit, but don't have any intention of modding the pump for larger fuel volume.

Not 100% sure it was necessary but we added an electric pump when additional fuel filters were added.
