I have the chance of gettin an 1HZ efi motor out of a rolled 100 series, has 17k on the clock and its in good nic and complete at 6 grand

I was going to use the mech injected version

I want to know, can i put it into a 96 model 75 series,
I want to know if the wiring looms are usable through the series
I want to know if it will respond well to a Garret T4 and 18psi better than a screwd out mech version

Input appreciated.

They are all mechanically injected. I think on the later model the electronics are for the aircon fast idle replacing the old vacuum setup.
I would use the pump that goes with the engine as around 95-96 I think they changed something in the timing gear and it will be disastrous if you put the wrong pump on the new engine.
Or use the other pump but double check with someone who knows.
The new pump with the new motor = better power;)
You maybe able to remove the electronic fast idle and replace it with the vac setup.
I think the new pumps have the High Altitude Compensator as standard which sits on top of the governor housing and makes them look different.

I think the boost will be too much .

ufff !!!

!HZ in a 75 series with 18 PSI of boost .. ! damn !

I thought as same as Rosco .. 18 is too much, but not imposible, intercooler obligation.

but with 14 PSI you gonna be really happy ..
