looking through the quokka today i have found a bundeera
minus engine and trans how hard would it be to drop a 1hfd engine in with a auto out of a 80 series on her ?

The bundeera front is 4 inches shorter and slopes down at a more acute angle,so it wont fit without big modifications. It would be easier to do with a 1KZ-t from a Prado .

Interested in a lic 73 series minus engine and gearbox?

Will a full 7X's front end go onto a bundeera front or vice versa

I'm just starting a similiar project myself, swapping a HZ into my lj78 (Prado). The front clip will need to be replaced with one from another 7*(square fenders). The front clip mounts on the frame will need to be widend, and brought foward. And the engine/tranny mounts will need to be moved as well.

I'm going to start a write up as I go along.

you need to locate the very front cross member and clip of the HD 70 series, cut and weld and you will be golden...
factory engine mounts from a HZ 7* series will help
