So I'm pretty sure I have an early 1HDT (late 90 or early 91). I need an IP. Can I use the later IP (93-96)?
Or is this going to present problems? I heard recommendations of rebuilding early pumps to later specs so was thinking may be fine with later pump. Seems the injectors would need to stay 90-92??

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I would think your old injectors would need the cracking pressure adjusted( and probably rebuilt) to suit the new pump.

Do you need a pump? I have 1HD-T version I'd like to part with.

Got the pump and injectors to go with it. Planning to send to Diesel Service to rebuild. Not sure if early or late version??
#22100-17140. #714

So would there be a problem swapping in later (93-96) injectors as well?

The later models had different bowls in the piston and I believe the fuel was sprayed at a different angle. I would be inclined to keep pistons and injectors together unless you know for sure its ok

Yep, pump and injectors should go together, also different tip gaskets for early and late engines. Pretty important.

Different markets also had different cracking pressures to meet emission standards.
