Hey there folks.

I've been hunting down a fuel leak on the diesel. I believe it is coming from the fuel filter primer housing thing that the filter attaches to. It is leaking out of the primer pump button on top, and perhaps the filter to adapter interface. I bought a filter that is a Toyota 23390-YZZAB, and I am wondering if this is the wrong filter. Also, just yesterday, the truck started missing a little bit, and is sometimes hard to start. I believe the fuel leak issue is related, and getting worse. Does anyone know if there is a seal kit for these filter mounts (not sure what it's actually called)? Or, has anyone used an aftermarket remote filter kit or one from a US based diesel truck? I must admit that I struggled quite a bit getting that filter off and back on. It would be nice if it was easier to work on. Thanks for any help you might have.

Replace the primer pump, they are wear items and that's where the air is coming in.You will need to bleed the air out when you change it.
