1HD-FT, boost and diesel question

Hi, I would like to hear if any of you have upped the boost or diesel or both on the 1HD-FT?

I find them rather slow at rpms < 2000 in their orignal setup. Any easy tricks that will help?

Any ideas on what boost to stay below? I am aware that EGTs should not get too high.

The low revs. is not a maximum boost problem, but a low fueling problem.
