Did it come from an engine with a blown head gasket?

I bought an used engine with 144k miles to replace my damaged original block. While the used engine was in transit from Virginia I took my original head to the machine shop, so this head is the one that came with the used engine.
The gasket that was in there looked like it had some deformation, so it probably was leaking some coolant, but this head actually looked much better than my oem head that got refinished.

I'm trying to tell if the triangular water passages in this picture, next to cylinder 6, are corroded, or just slightly discolored. Are they still flush and true with the mating surface?

I got a lot going on right now, I don't want to ship this thing on a weak box. The head is heavy so I would probably use wood but right now I don't have the time. I'm a full time student/part time work.
I'm willing to ship after this semester is over.
