I have a 72 with a 1F that needs to come out. I have a 75 2F to go back in. I have a few things i would like to get you opinions on. On my 1F I have a header with a rochester carb on the intake with a stock air cleaner. Should I use my header and 1F intake? What carb should I get? The Rochester is about had it. Is there a big differance in a header and the stock manifold? Also the guy I got the 2F from used an eletric fuel pump. Can I use my 1F pump and put it on the 2F? If not what do you think is the best route there? There are 2 big freeze plugs that are not in flush with the block. The was no seepage of oil, but does not look right to me. Would you take them out and put new ones back in? And the last question. What is the best way to clean an engine and what is the best paint to use?
