Back up for sale. I’ve decided it’s time for something a newer. That be a 200, 5th gen 4Runner, or most likely a van.
Pictures still represent the current condition of the truck. I had the transmission rebuilt by a shop recommended by ACC here in Atlanta. It comes with a transerable 2 year warranty to the buyer. I’ve dumped a lot money into this LC and I got to focus on something a little more modern.

Driveline has been lubed. Diffs and transfer case all have been serviced. Engine oil replaced as well in the last 500 miles.
A couple of weeks after getting my truck back from the transmission shop I developed a cold start issues. A few cranks it fires up. The rest of the day it starts up with no issues. Still haven’t quite figured it out. Might be something I’m missing. Here what I’ve replaced. All OEM parts
MAF
Fuel Filter
Fuel pump
Fuel regulator
Fuel damper
Fuel injectors
EFI relay and fuse
Spark plugs
Coils
Fuel cap
4 o2 sensors
Crankshaft position sensor
Camshaft position sensor
Brakes are getting a little soft. I have a Toyota Brake cylinder kit. I plan on doing that in the next week or so. Timing belt looks to be in good condition. The service records say it was done at 270k.
Smoke from the exhaust began after swapping out the CPS. Not exactly sure what’s going on. Clogged cat, bad ecu, timing skipped a tooth? Compression is good. Bank 2 fuel trim levels are off. Oil and coolant are clear. Smoke smells rich of fuel. Maybe bad injector?
I have all the factory parts. Price includes everything expect for the F5’s and OPOR sliders. OEM wheels are in good condition. 2 tires are 75% and the other 2 are 50%.
